From a very early age Frank always enjoyed drawing and painting which predictably led him along the path to Art College. On leaving College Frank worked in a busy Art Studio for four years where he was involved with lots of product illustration for a design packaging company. He then set up his own studio, working as a Freelance Artist / Illustrator from home, mainly producing artwork for greeting cards, gift boxes and giftwrap companies including Hallmark and the Medici Society. He received a commission creating many chinaware designs for Royal Doulton and this in turn led into the world of Children's Books, which predominantly was illustrating pre-school Board Books for the under 5's; working for companies which include: Childs Play International, Hodder & Stoughton, Smallworld Creations, Little Tiger Press and Usbourne Books. Frank enjoys working on a variety of children's picture books, particularly when there is an exciting story to illustrate which can stretch his imagination. More recently Frank has really enjoyed working with some American Publishers which has been a marvellous opportunity to work with some very talented authors and editorial teams. Frank also enjoys producing Fine Art paintings and prints of varying subjects and in different styles.
