An advent exhibition for the festive season

Si Smith has organised an exhibition by a group of 24 artists and arts groups from yorkshire and beyond in a disused church undergoing renovation. They each took on a theme from the advent story - shepherds, angels, stars etc. and were invited to explore their theme in whatever way and using whatever media they felt appropriate. The results were shown across the four weekends of advent in the build-up to christmas. The art is just great and the response so far has been overwhelmingly positive…
