Have you written your own Children's Book?

We have a simple online, step by step guide to help you create your own finished and fully illustrated book complete with text laid out in position and ready to send to the printers or for you to convert to an e-book or download.

The cost will depend on the number of pages and the style you choose. You will also need a front cover illustration unless you choose to use an inside page on the cover.

Follow these simple steps - click arrows to navigate up/down the steps:

1. Choose the style of illustration

Click the pictures to see other illustrators available in each given style.

2. Choose a font style, page size and age target

Choose which font-style you prefer for the story text on the pages to appear.

What size will your book be: Width mm    Height mm

What is the target age group of your book: Between and years old OR will it appeal to everyone

3. Select the number of pages

Tell us how many pages your book will have. The cover illustration can be a repeat of an inside illustration or done as an additional artwork, in which case please add the brief description and sketch for the cover art at the end of the brief for the inside illustrations in step 4 below.

4. Upload the brief and story text

5. Upload a rough sketch for each page

6. Order details and payment information

When we have received and understood your instructions and are ready to start we will let you know and ask you to make a payment of 50% of the total amount for producing the initial pencil roughs. In this case the amount for roughs will be £1500. We will email you a link to send your payment which upon receipt we will make a start. When you have received and approved all the roughs we will send a link for you to make the payment for the remaining £1500 being the final 50% for completion of full colour final artwork.

7. Delivery and Submission

We will deliver roughs and final colour artwork to you via Yousendit.com. The artwork files will be PDF format ready for print and at a resolution of 300dpi.
